Stacy Aguilera has served as Educational Specialist for CDBS since October 2014. She has worked in the education field since 1995. Stacy has experience in general education, deaf education, and special education, and has taught levels from preschool to high school in the public school setting. During the last three years of her career, Stacy was a deaf/hard of hearing itinerant teacher who served multiple districts in Riverside County. She served districts and families of students with hearing loss and some students with CHARGE syndrome. Stacy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development, a Master’s Degree in Education, and a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership. Her dissertation topic was “The Challenges Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students Experience in General Education”. Stacy enjoys learning and looks forward to working with California Deafblind Services.
